Processing Analyst

We are hiring Processing Analysts based in Markham, Ontario

The Role

Working under supervision, the Processing Analyst is responsible for providing administrative support to our underwriting team through the entering of client and underwriting data into our various systems and the creation of a wide range of policy documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Issuance of documentation: New/Renewal/Endorsements/Certificates/Registered Letters.

  • Accounts inquiries – investigation and correction of documentation.

  • General follow ups – company issued documentation, photos, outstanding information, etc.

  • Create templates in PolicyWorks and manuscript policies.

  • PolicyWorks administration – policy wordings, documentation and reporting.

  • Lloyd’s Lineage portal administrator – Lloyd’s policy upload and reporting.

  • Liaise with broker partners for a variety of administrative tasks to review policy document, invoicing and payments.

  • Supporting other policy processors and underwriters as required.

  • Perform data entry activities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist with customer and broker inquiries


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Exceptionally proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and industry software including PolicyWorks and Applied Systems TAM.

  • Dynamic and smart with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to exercise initiative and follow up skills

  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and critical degree of accuracy in data entry.

  • Team player; willing to listen to others viewpoints, able to collaborate with other departments and offices, understand the importance of teamwork.

  • Excellent personal organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and heavy work volume.

  • Ability to balance and manage the expectations of clients and management.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, and problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Superior time‐management, organizational and data management and reporting skills are essential for this position.

  • Technology skills capable of learning new systems and optimizing procedures.

Customer Service

  • Comfortable communicating with clients and maintain good relationships internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated track record of customer service orientation and proven ability to foster strong business relationships

  • Comfortable communicating with clients (in person, email, and telephone inquiries.)

  • Answer telephones promptly and courteously.

  • Provide quotes and answer policy coverage questions in an efficient, professional and friendly manner.

  • Follow up with clients’ needs in a timely manner.

  • Maintain good relationships with broker clients.
